What are your Delivery Charges?
Delivery charges are per order and not for
each item.

Orders with goods totalling under £300.00 - Delivery charge for order = £25.00

With the exception of orders for fabric
cleaners (soley) which are charged at £1.95.
This covers the cost of delivery anywhere within the mainland UK
(except to PA, PH, DD, IV, AB, KW and TR, PL, TQ, EX postcodes)
, but does not cover delivery to Ireland, the Channel Islands or any of the
Scottish Isles. For delivery prices to these locations, please email us.
Why do we charge a separate delivery cost?
If we didn't, we would have to build the delivery
cost into the price of each product. That is fine if you are only buying one
product but, for multiple purchases, you would effectively be paying for
multiple deliveries. By charging a separate delivery cost, we believe that we
can offer the best value for money to all our customers.
Who delivers our goods?
For smaller items we generally use G. Moor
Haulage. This is an experienced home delivery company.
For Suites we use CT Distribution. See below for details of this service.
For other larger items we use Bishops Move.
Delivery Timescales
Unlike many other products you can buy in the high street, furniture is
typically made to order. This is why most beds and suites can take 6 - 8
weeks from order to delivery. Many other items are available for delivery
within 14 days and we do have arrangements with several manufacturers to
deliver beds and suites within 14 days for specific models and colours.
Suite Deliveries
All suites are delivered by CT Distribution which
performs deliveries for some of the major retail groups in the UK and who solely
deliver suites.
Furniture is sent directly from the manufacturer
to CT Distribution to provide a streamlined and efficient service. Upon receipt
of furniture, all items are visually checked for any product damage. Any items
which are not satisfactory will be returned to the manufacturer.
Delivery Process
- CT Distribution are responsible for making
direct customer contact by telephone, to arrange delivery. The delivery day
can include an 'AM' or 'PM' window if required.
- Suites are delivered by a two-man crew who are
fully-trained and smarty dressed.
- The driver will call each customer
approximately one hour before delivery to advise the customer of their
estimated time of arrival and to establish any local delivery
problems.
- Protective floor coverings are carried and
employed to protect the customer's premises while the furniture is taken to
the correct room and positioned according to the customer's requirements.
- All furniture wrapping will be taken off and
removed from the house.
- The customer will be asked to inspect the
furniture and subsequently to sign the Proof of Delivery note.
- Fully comprehensive insurance at all stages is
in operation.
